Robots should be able to see and feel, among other things. This goal is approached "bit by bit" by using collaborating robots and Force-Torque and vision technologies. The company Discher Automatisierungstechnik now uses such technologies in over 80% of all robot applications. The area of application extends over the entire field of industrial automation as well as the pharmaceutical industry and, believe it or not, the health sector. Here we can refer to automation projects in the production of prostheses (Münster University Hospital), among others.
